Hyatt Regency Delhi becomes first Hyatt in the world with LEED Platinum

Hyatt Regency Delhi has been certified as LEED Platinum by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), the body that certifies all LEED projects globally. With this honor, Hyatt Regency Delhi is the first Hyatt hotel in over 700 properties across the world and one of the few hotels in Delhi to which has received this esteemed green building certification. During a special ceremony at Hyatt Regency Delhi, the internationally recognized LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) plaque and certificate were presented to Mr. Shiv Jatia, Chairman and Managing Director of Asian Hotels (North) Limited by Mr. Gopalakrishnan P., Managing Director – Asia Pacific & Middle East, GBCI. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Aseem Kapoor, General Manager Hyatt Regency Delhi said, “It is of course a proud moment for all of us, especially as we are the first hotel to receive this certification within the Hyatt family. With this, Hyatt Regency Delhi establishes itself as one of the few global leaders for energy and environment design.”
