InterGlobe Hotels has announced the commencement of construction of its hotel – Ibis Vikhroli located along Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg in northern Mumbai. The property will have 249 guestrooms. Ibis Vikhroli, which is estimated to be built at an approximate project cost of 200 crores, will be spread across 114,000 sq. ft. of built-up-area, and include meetings and events facilities spanning 2,700 sq. feet ideal for business events, team building activities and social gatherings. Amongst the hotel’s Food and Beverage offerings, the property will feature the signature Ibis restaurant and bar – Spice It and The Hub. The building will feature sustainable landscaping in an effort to ensure that design of the structure is made around existing trees and local vegetation. Ibis Vikhroli has already received a Gold precertification for sustainable architecture from IGBC.
The Hotel’s location in the heart of Vikhroli – one of Mumbai’s key suburban areas, will make it an ideal hospitality destination for all guests.
