Hilton has announced the opening of its newest hotel, the dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Birmingham and Home2 Suites by Hilton Birmingham Downtown, bringing a total of 210 new rooms to the heart of downtown Birmingham. Located in the state’s largest and most populous city, Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites by Hilton Birmingham Downtown complements Alabama’s bustling tourism industry, which is growing at twice the rate of the state’s general economy. This is the first dual-brand property with a Home2 Suites, and the opening demonstrates Hilton’s ongoing urban expansion in the focused service and All-Suites sectors. The concept will help create larger communal areas, benefiting all types of travellers. The hotel has two distinct lobbies and dining areas, each catering to the needs of their respective guests while sharing one registration desk, fitness centre, and outdoor saline pool.
